A “Conversation with Craig Newmark” on Friday, October 1, from 12:00-12:30 pm.
Join us over lunch for a virtual chat with Craig Newmark (www.cnewmark.com), founder of Craigslist and an advocate for a wide range of causes both online and off. Moderated by Kevin Briody, Craig will be joining us live over video call from Washington D.C. to discuss his views on the Web as a force for grassroots efforts, the rise of distributed networks of trust, and more.
Have a question you’d like to ask Craig? Submit it here for consideration no later than September 24th (5pm EST). Why the deadline? We only have Craig for a very limited time so we’ll only be asking a small number of questions, and we want to make sure we pick the ones that make for a great conversation.
One caveat: Any questions about Craigslist or its current operations should be directed to Craigslist itself, and will not be considered for this interview. Craig is joining us to share some of his passions for what the Web enables, such as grassroots organizing, and we’d love to keep the short conversation focused on those topics. Thanks!
