Watch – and Join – the Twitter Shoot-out
Twitter on the iPad is “the” way to tweet in 2010. And there are more twitter applications available than any one person could try out. So we’re going to do the work for you.
Come see the Twitter Shoot Out. Twitteriffic, Twitter for iPad and Tweetdeck will go head to head on the stage.
SUPERUSERS: Superusers will walk through a series of tasks, and the audience will vote on the best Twitter application at the end. The winner gets to brag about it, and announce to all that he’s an iPad Twitter Maven.
THE AUDIENCE: The audience will get a look inside these applications, see how they function in real time, and watch three great personalities fight it out on stage. Its Iron Chef for Twitter, without the funky fish smell.
Our SuperUser Competitors are:
Gedeon Maheux (@gedeon) is an icon and user interface designer and one of the co-founders of the popular pixel website, the Iconfactory. He was born and raised in Laconia, NH, earned a BA in Graphic Design and a MFA in Electronic Media Design, both from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Will Carroll – Twitter for iPad
Will Carroll (@injuryexpert) writes about injuries. He is considered “the industry standard” by Peter Gammons and called “a pain in the ass” by Bill Belichick. He writes for Baseball Prospectus (and the rest of the Prospectus family) and for SI.com. A member of both the BBWAA and the PFWA, Carroll’s niche of injury analysis has led to a broader understanding of sports medicine by fans.
The author of two books, including the Seymour Award-winning The Juice, Carroll has contributed to eleven other books and edited The Carroll Guide to Sports Injuries. He’s won three FSWA Awards … and yeah, these are a lot of platitudes! Carroll’s a self-taught reporter from Indianapolis that got lucky. He enjoys a good scotch, and occasionally a bad one, geeks out over gadgets, and is getting an early start at being a dirty old man.
